In 2018, Dr. Mark D. Epstein was selected as one of 22 U.S. surgeons to participate as a Primary Investigator in the U.S. Motiva FDA Clinical Trial. Throughout this study, he implanted approximately 150 Motiva breast implants, meticulously monitoring patients with annual examinations, questionnaires, 2D and 3D photography, and MRIs to detect any ruptures. His observations revealed that patients consistently reported high satisfaction levels, with rupture, capsular contracture and reoperation rate substantially less than Allergan Natrelle, Mentor and Sientra implants. Notably, photographic comparisons from one to six years post-surgery demonstrated remarkable stability in breast shape, maintaining aesthetic contours and natural feel over time.
