I’m a relatively anxious person and definitely had my fair share of nerves, questions, and second guessing throughout the process. Dr. Epstein was always incredibly patient and reassuring, personally called me to talk through my concerns, and never made me feel like I was being unreasonable for asking questions, even if I asked the same thing ten times. My recovery has been pretty amazing. I had very minimal pain and was able to go about my day using Extra Strength Tylenol and icing. I did have some nerve-ending type discomfort in my left breast that was briefly uncomfortable, and there was really only one day where I felt genuinely uncomfortable, but that subsided within a day or so. I was up, walking around, doing normal things, and functioning very quickly, which made the 24-hour recovery experience pretty incredible for me. I’m only three weeks out and already feel like I’m able to do so much more than I expected. Honestly, I sometimes forget I even have implants! And if you’re like me and sleep on your stomach, you absolutely can get back to sleeping comfortably. It wasn’t comfortable for me at first, so I used a pregnancy pillow and made myself a little “nest” to sleep on my back. I’m very picky about my sleep, so the fact that I was able to sleep comfortably that way was a big deal for me. Sizing was probably the thing I questioned the most. I went into this wanting BIG, big boobs and definitely had moments where I was really concerned about the size of the implant I was receiving, which was a Motiva Preservé 180 Demi profile. Dr. Epstein was very clear about what my specific anatomy could realistically accommodate and explained that going significantly larger would look extremely augmented and could come with complications such as bottoming out and visible implant edges. Part of me really thought, “I don’t care, just make them bigger,” but I eventually understood that there’s a difference between wanting mega breasts and having a result that will actually look good and hold up well on my body. I really appreciated that he was willing to be honest with me and guide me toward what he genuinely felt was the best choice rather than simply giving me what I wanted to hear. I wanted a doctor who would explain things to me and tell me “no” when appropriate, and even though I can be pushy and question things aka I lose my mind a little- I always got an explanation and reassurance. I’m still early in my recovery and my results are continuing to settle, but I have felt incredibly cared for throughout the entire process. Dr. Epstein has been knowledgeable, honest, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt comfortable and informed. I’m very grateful I chose him and would absolutely recommend him.

You might think given his level of expertise and reputation that he might be cold or aloof but it’s the exact opposite. From the moment I walked into his offices for a consult, the staff was incredibly friendly and inviting. This carried through to meeting Dr Epstein for the first time, who sat down and truly focused in on discussing surgical options with me. It never felt rushed or like a punched ticket; he was truly listening and providing the best guidance tailored to me and my body. That level of attention never wavered through pre op, surgery and post op. I felt extremely well informed and cared for throughout the journey. He is very thorough and dogged about his patients prep and setting you up for the best surgical experience possible, guiding every step of the way. Post surgery when I had a concern, I called him on his cell phone (what doctor gives out their personal cell?!), got him immediately and he had me in the office to address my concern within thirty minutes. I truly didn’t know that level of service existed in the medical world. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience, and my results. There’s no one better than Dr. Epstein… if you’re taking the plunge on a cosmetic procedure, give yourself the best and go here.

Dr. Epstein is very kind and compassionate. He truly takes pride in his work and his confidence and expertise helps ease the process. Everyone he works with from the front desk to all the other nurses, doctors, clerical staff are also so kind and welcoming. If you are looking for a natural looking breast augmentation, with minimal down time his Preserve technique is it! I had my surgery wide awake and was back walking on the treadmill the next day! 10/10 would do this procedure again!

I had the Preserve procedure with Dr. Epstein and traveled from Manhattan because I wanted someone who had performed many of these procedures and specialized in natural looking augmentations.
