I had such a wonderful experience with my breast augmentation with Dr. Epstein. I had been interested in a breast augmentation for a long time as I wanted to enhance my size and fix my asymmetry. During my consultation Dr Epstein and Staff took 3D imaging of me. This was my favorite part of the experience as rather than trying on implant samples in a bra I was able to see how different sizes and shapes would look on my ACTUAL body. His staff was extremely caring and genuinely addressed all my questions and concerns to ease my mind prior to surgery. The 24 hour recovery exceeded my expectations. One hour Post-Op I was able to raise my arms walk around use the bathroom by myself! Other than being a little tired from the anesthesia I was able go on with my day as normal only taking advil. No adverse medication side effects! I was so terrified I would have the same recovery process as my friends and would be inept for a week but every promise of the 24 hour recovery was met and one day post op was driving to the mall to go shopping. The hardest part of my recovery was sleeping on my back for a few weeks as I am a natural side sleeper- but after a week you adjust with ease! Prior to surgery I did a ton of research as I had a few college friends who got BA in Florida, while their results were great, their experiences were a bit different from mine. During their consultation they were not able to get 3d imaging of their possible results but rather had to try on bras with implant samples to get a "feel" of what they would look like. Upon completion of their surgery, they were in extreme pain were prescribed strong pain killers that gave them adverse side effects such as nausea and constipation. They were unable to move/lift arms for 1 full week and were required to have a care giver in order to aid them in bathing and going to the bathroom. When I read about Dr. Epstein's 24 hour recovery I didn’t understand how my friends could have such a terrible recovery process other than the Doctor did not provide them with proper care. I am currently 3 Months Post Op and am LOVING my results I honestly can't remember how I used to look. My scarring is so minimal and I feel great! I would highly recommend as I had such a wonder experience with Dr. Epstein and staff!

Mark Epstein and his staff are absolutely excellent. I would refer them to every single person that would want work done even not Breast implants as I can tell he is very talented and a perfectionist in his work. He is an amazing doctor that actually cares about his patients and their well being. I had the round, soft touch gummy implants and my recovery was so fast and great. It was a 24 hour recovery and I could literally go to dinner that night and be perfectly fine. I was walking around my backyard right after I got out of surgery and could lift my arms over my head directly coming out of surgery, still in the recovery room. I was back to work in just one day after surgery and I felt perfectly fine and ready to work again! Dr.Epstein called me the day after my surgery to make sure I was okay and to follow up and that right there distinguishes him from any other doctor as he actually cares about his patients. I am so happy with my results and everything about the surgery ! If I ever wanted work done again Dr.Epstein would be my #1 person to go to !

I chose Dr Epstein based on his outstanding reviews, his extremely informative website, and his beautiful before and after photos. I loved his approach to the patient, how he strives for the most natural appearance and takes pride in his work. I went in initially very much wanting the teardrop gummy implant. After much thought and discussion and based on my body type I ended up going with the round gummy implant and couldn’t be happier. During the consult he took his time with me and addressed all of my husband and my concerns. In all honesty the Vectra 3D imaging for me specifically wasn’t accurate to my outcome, this might be different for other people though. His price was steep in comparison to other cosmetic surgeons in the area but I felt that this was not something to cheap out on. If you are serious about this procedure, you truly do get what you pay for. He is an expert in what he does! Leading up to surgery I was a wreck, so scared and nervous but most of his office staff completely eased my anxiety... while his office staff was very nice, I chose this practice purely for the surgeon mind you, as they were nice for the most part but I feel could have been a bit nicer at times considering how much you actually do spend. As far as my follow up appointments go (I’ve only had 2 so far) I felt I got lost in the shuffle a bit and I couldn’t help but feel sort of “done with” as my surgery was complete. Again this could have just been coincidence, I will see how the others go as well moving forward. The actual day of surgery went smooth, the anesthesiologist was amazing and the night prior did a thorough phone interview. It took me about two hours in recovery before going home. The recovery nurse was amazing! I was lifting my arms above my head with no issue post operatively. I went home and took the two hour nap, waking up feeling very groggy still and definitely in a good amount of pain. While his 24 hour recovery is certain, it is STILL surgery! This is the honest truth! The worst of the pain was the first 24 hours, but the stretching and his recipe for recovery absolutely worked. His surgical packet was amazing and so informative as well so I suggest reading it multiple times in its entirety. Day 2 forward was uncomfortable but livable. I didn’t feel fully recovered until week two honestly. The Motrin absolutely helped but for me I had a lot of back pain which from what I read is normal. I think a low dose muscle relaxer with the Motrin would have been ideal and would have definitely helped tremendously. There is ZERO need for any narcotic medication! I went back to work four days after my procedure. My job is very physical and I work long days so by mid day I felt exhausted. Again it’s still very much surgery with general anesthesia, his method works but you will NOT be 100% after 24 hours! Also, I am a stomach sleeper. I will mention I was able to sleep on my stomach afterward with minor discomfort. If you’ve ever breast-fed, the overall discomfort feels like you very much have to empty your breasts. they feel very full and tight. After surgery he called me from his personal cell phone to check up on me and told me without hesitation to call him if needed which I felt was very kind. The office also sent flowers which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall my experience was a positive one and I’d absolutely recommend Dr Epstein!!
