For over 10 years I was so unhappy and self conscious about my breasts. I refused to wear a bra or bathing suit that wasn't extremely padded. I finally decided that I was sick of being unhappy and I wanted to get a BA. I found Dr. Epstein as well as a few other Doctors and I just did a ton of research, looking up reviews and scheduling consultations. Getting a surgery like this I wanted to feel completely confident in the Dr. I went with, (it's surgery so obviously it's something you want to take seriously) When I met with Doctor Epstein, I seriously felt so calm and comfortable, like I've known him for years. The consultation was great, everyone was sooo nice, so knowledgeable. If you want a natural look then do not go to anyone but Dr. Epstein. He took a ton of measurements, factoring in my height, skin, existing tissue to determine which size would fit me best, not overly stretch my skin and look proportionate. The process was so easy and stress free. In the month or 2 before the surgery, Mary Ellen sent me a package with information on what to expect and was there to answer any questions or concerns. The day before surgery, the anesthesiologist called me to also answer any questions or concerns I had. The day of, everyone worked to make me feel calm and comfortable. 1 hr later I was in recovery for about 45 minutes total and then I was able to go home. I went home took a nap and woke up feeling fine ( I cleaned a cooked the day before so I didnt really have to do anything that night) But I took a shower and had no issues lifting my arms to wash my hair or anything. The next day I went to work, I felt slightly sore but I didnt need to take any pain medication throughout the healing process. I honestly felt totally back to normal within a few days. I would go to the gym and do leg workouts, take care of my 2 year old, cook, go out. The follow up was great, a nurse called me the night of the surgery to see how I was feeling and Dr Epstein called me the following day. I honestly love Dr. Epstein and his staff. Everyone is so nice, so knowledgeable, easy to get in touch with (even when I had a question at 9pm) Hands down I would recommend Dr. Epstein to anyone looking to get plastic surgery. I am beyond happy with my results, so natural and Im finally confident! Thank you so much Dr. Epstein! *I am currently 4 weeks post op and am able to go back to all my activity's, lifting over 25lbs, gym, cardio, arm workouts etc.

Both Dr. Epstein and his entire staff were such a pleasure. Everyone in the office is friendly, has a great sense of humor, and made me feel so comfortable. I really liked the anesthesiologist! My 19 month old son had a horrific accident when a small marble table fell and severed a good part of his big toe. We rushed him to Stony Brook ER. After many other teams (specialities) consulted, no one took over the surgical aspect of his care. When the plastic surgeon team arrived to do a consult, Dr Mark Epstein was the attending on call that evening and came in to the hospital THAT NIGHT to oversee his team of residents. Clearly, he did not have to do this himself. Dr. Epstein has been the facilitator of a miracle for us along this traumatic journey. He not only has seen my son weekly and accommodated our NYC schedules when we come to Long Island, but he also continues to follow up with phone calls and messages to check on my son, often. Dr. Epstein has even gone so far as to coordinate with NYC plastic surgeons in the event of an emergency, extending himself far beyond anything I ever imagined. Dr. Mark Epstein, although a fabulous and well respected aesthetic surgeon, is also an amazing overall surgeon. His bedside manner is just wonderful. Much to our delight, my son’s recovery has been better than expected. I feel grateful when I reflect on how lucky we were to cross paths with him that night and how lucky we still are to have him in our lives.

I wanted my breasts to be a little more full and to add what was missing from the top, especially since one was larger than the other. When selecting a doctor I was skeptical about going to the doctor's that advertise on the radio. I honestly found Dr. Epstein through Google and I'm so glad I did! What helped my decision into selecting him as my doctor was that his before and after photo's of BA's were all different. To me this means he really listened to patients as to what their goal was, all other doctor's before and after patient photos looked exactly the same. Dr. Epstein also has the 24 hour recovery which was amazing! Since the day after my surgery was Thanksgiving I had a lot to do - I was baking and doing laundry only 4 hours after surgery! I even opened my own car door when I got home from surgery and was stunned because this is something I had heard was extremely hard to do after having a BA. His 24 hour recovery is the real deal! Dr. Epstein really listed to what my goal was and his staff is phenomenal. When going into surgery I was extremely nervous and scared but Dr. Epstein and his staff were very calming and made me feel so comfortable, they even called after surgery and over the weekend to make sure I was doing well. Since it was a holiday weekend I had Thanksgiving and Black Friday off from work, I took off the Monday after just in case but I honestly didn't need to. I could have went back to work two days after surgery, I felt great! I am extremely happy with my results and would definitely do it all over again. I cannot thank Dr. Epstein enough!

I had my breast augmentation after breast feeding my first baby. I was left with different sized breasts, that were saggy and uneven. Being 27 years old I was not happy with my body any more. I didn’t feel like I wanted to be naked and didn’t want to walk passed A mirror. I was really uncomfortable in my own skin. I had my concerns and doubts about the 24 hour recovery but I am so happy with the procedure and the results that Dr. Epstein and his great staff were able to give me. He was so honest with me and was totally up front about not wanting to do anything that would compromise the integrity of my skin, like going to big even when I asked for it. I went with the round gummy implants and they look and feel amazing. Plus I was able to go home and pick up my 4 month old son that same day and take care of him in every way I needed. There was no drowsiness from narcotics and I wasn’t wrapped up like a mummy in pain. I went through a haunted house and corn maze the next day. My results are exactly what I wanted, to be more full and larger. I went from an A cup (and about an A and a half on the other breast) to a full D in both! I feel so much more confident and happy with my body now!

After having a bad laceration on my forehead I went to see Dr Epstein to see if I needed plastic surgery. Dr. Epstein is one of the nicest and caring doctors I know. Totally honest on any procedure you would like done. Not only is he knowledgeable on all aspects of plastic surgery he also has state of the art equipment. His staff is kind and extremely sympathetic. His hands are miracle hands and he is truly gifted. I would recommend to anyone who may need plastic surgery on any and all parts of the body. He is wonderful! I am been blessed to have him as my doctor!
