Last year around June I researched online for plastic surgeons in New York that had the best of the best reviews due to my long term interest in getting breast implants. At the time I was 22-years-old, fresh out of college and ready to make the change I have been longing for since I was in high school and certainly underdeveloped than many of the girls in my grade. By July of last year I found myself in Dr. Epstein's office making my appointment for surgery due to his wonderful staff and himself, walking me through the process of Pre-Op and even what to do Post-Op to the point of dealing with the emotional recovery after surgery. I received the teardrop gummy bear implants and can honestly say that it is a year later and everything that Dr. Epstein and his staff said would happen did happen. My post-surgery recovery was indeed 24-hours. All I needed to get through the first week after surgery was a heavier dose of advil that was prescribed and some family time to cope with seeing friends and other family members post-surgery. For those wondering, to me that was the hardest part of the entire process. Besides dealing with emotional responses from friends and family, which in time you will learn is all a matter of perspective, Dr. Epstein and his staff were the best of the best. I just went back for my one year check up and everything went beautifully. Dr. Epstein was thrilled with the results and so am I! I can honestly say going to him for this procedure, something I thought about for a long time and was nervous about, was the best decision I made. If you are researching other doctors online and in the New York area, don't waste your time, give Dr. Epstein a call. You won't regret it!

His 24 hr recovery is a true thing. I wasn't on bed rest. I actually went back to A graduation party the next day. The sensation I felt after surgery was more like a tightness feeling instead of pain. Take some over the counter pain medicine, and you'll feel fine.

I have two children and am 38 years old. My recovery was quick as I followed all the instructions from the staff. I drove myself to his office the next day. I was able to shower and do everything I normally did on a daily basis. I was back to work in less than 48 hours post operating room. He also has a 24 hour recovery plan that really helped minimize any discomfort and got me back up and moving to take care of my little ones as soon as possible. Dr. Epstein performed a Vaser chest and arm procedure on me. I can not say enough about the professionalism of both the staff and Dr. Epstein. From my very first visit they made me feel comfortable and at ease and explained my procedure in layman terms. My procedure on my chest was to repair what was "botched" from a previous surgery done by a different doctor. I am beyond ecstatic with my results now. Dr. Epstein listens to your concerns and delivers. I highly recommend Dr. Epstein and his staff.
