I got my BA on 11/22/17. It took me about a year and a half to research everything and anything about breast implants as I wanted to be 100% sure this was something I wanted. I wanted my breasts to be a little more full and to add what was missing from the top, especially since one was larger than the other. When selecting a doctor I was skeptical about going to the doctor's that advertise on the radio. I honestly found Dr. Epstein through Google and I'm so glad I did! What helped my decision into selecting him as my doctor was that his before and after photo's of BA's were all different. To me this means he really listened to patients as to what their goal was, all other doctor's before and after patient photos looked exactly the same. Dr. Epstein also has the 24 hour recovery which was amazing! Since the day after my surgery was Thanksgiving I had a lot to do - I was baking and doing laundry only 4 hours after surgery! I even opened my own car door when I got home from surgery and was stunned because this is something I had heard was extremely hard to do after having a BA. His 24 hour recovery is the real deal! Dr. Epstein really listed to what my goal was and his staff is phenomenal. When going into surgery I was extremely nervous and scared but Dr. Epstein and his staff were very calming and made me feel so comfortable, they even called after surgery and over the weekend to make sure I was doing well. Since it was a holiday weekend I had Thanksgiving and Black Friday off from work, I took off the Monday after just in case but I honestly didn't need to. I could have went back to work two days after surgery, I felt great! I am extremely happy with my results and would definitely do it all over again. I cannot thank Dr. Epstein enough!

I didn’t feel like I wanted to be naked and didn’t want to walk passed A mirror. I was really uncomfortable in my own skin. He was so honest with me and was totally up front about not wanting to do anything that would compromise the integrity of my skin, like going to big even when I asked for it. I went with the round gummy implants and they look and feel amazing. Plus I was able to go home and pick up my 4 month old son that same day and take care of him in every way I needed. There was no drowsiness from narcotics and I wasn’t wrapped up like a mummy in pain. I went through a haunted house and corn maze the next day. My results are exactly what I wanted, to be more full and larger. I went from an A cup (and about an A and a half on the other breast) to a full D in both! I feel so much more confident and happy with my body now!

Totally honest on any procedure you would like done. Not only is he knowledgeable on all aspects of plastic surgery he also has state of the art equipment. His staff is kind and extremely sympathetic. His hands are miracle hands and he is truly gifted. I would recommend to anyone who may need plastic surgery on any and all parts of the body. The office was clean, comfortable, with a chic, modern feel. Again, the staff was amazing. Dr Epstein was warm, calming, and really took his time evaluating me and discussing my various options. His experience was evident by his vast knowledge and recommendations. I immediately felt comfortable and knew with great certainty that he was the surgeon for me. The day of my surgery I really could feel how important my surgery was to all who assisted Dr Epstein. From the Assisting nurses to the anesthesiologist, they all went above and beyond to easy my nerves and I knew I was in good hands. I was astonished at how quickly I recovered from this procedure. The evening of my surgery I went out to dinner with my husband! Within 24 hours, I was driving by myself and within 48 hours, I regained full range of motion and was able to return to my normal everyday activities. Prior to the surgery I remember being nervous and worried about my recovery, but the staff was very reassuring and put my mind at ease. I left the office after the procedure and was surprised I was not in pain. I was mildly sore, a bit stiff, and had some swelling that was negligible. I followed all of the post-surgical instructions, took a nap, and woke a few hours later and still no pain. By the end of the day I was lifting my arms over my head and was able to dress and undress with no problem. When Dr. Epstein called the following day to check on me, I remember telling him I didn't have any pain and asked when I was going to feel it. He said you won't if you haven't by now. I almost didn't believe him, but he was right. That day I met a friend for lunch and he was very surprised I was doing so well and said you don't even look like you just had surgery. I had taken off from work the day of the surgery and the two days following, expecting I needed the time to recover but didn't realize it was only a one day recovery. I returned to work early because I was capable of doing everything I could do prior to the surgery. I can't say enough positive things about my experience and I would highly recommend Dr. Epstein and his staff.

I had underwent a breast augmentation back on March 21st, 2017, 24 years old, it is now September and I could not be happier with my results! From pre-op to post-op, Dr. Epstein and his staff were absolutely remarkable and so accommodating. The first initial consultation appointment was extremely thorough and provided all the information needed going forward in my inquires for this surgery. I was also provided with 3D imaging of different sizes of what I would look like with not only different breast sizes, but the different types of implants (i.e: silicone or gummy bear). I wanted a more natural appearance and selected the "Natrelle teardrop gummy bear implants" and they were exactly what I wanted. On the day of the procedure, I was warmly welcomed and de-briefed again on how the whole process would go. Everyone made me feel a lot less nervous and by the time I was ready to enter the operating room, I was very calm and relaxed. It seemed as though it happened so fast. One moment I'm laughing and talking with everyone in the room and the next thing I recall was waking up in the recovery room. Staff was readily available to assist me with anything I may need and before I left I was able to lift my arms above my head! It took 24 hours of recovery and then I was right back to work! I even hit the gym 2 days later, some cardio and super light lifting (if any). I didn't need anything stronger than ibuprofen and extra-strength Tylenol during my recovery process. The night of the operation, Dr. Epstein was so kind as to call and see how I had been feeling and on top of that I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers the following day, that really brightened my spirits! I am so happy to have found Dr. Epstein and his wonderful, kind staff in having gone through not only my first B.A. but my first surgery ever. I was so content that I also went to him and his staff with another cosmetic procedure for laser scar removal. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Epstein and his staff over at his Stony Brook location for any procedures under the array of categories he his qualified in preforming. Dr. Epstein is extremely professional, willing to answer any and every question, makes you feel like more than a patient, and makes you laugh, feel comfortable, like you've made the perfect choice! The offices are modern and very clean and the staff is likewise, extremely professional and on top of things! Five-stars all-around!
