I had underwent a breast augmentation back on March 21st, 2017, 24 years old, it is now September and I could not be happier with my results! From pre-op to post-op, Dr. Epstein and his staff were absolutely remarkable and so accommodating. The first initial consultation appointment was extremely thorough and provided all the information needed going forward in my inquires for this surgery. I was also provided with 3D imaging of different sizes of what I would look like with not only different breast sizes, but the different types of implants (i.e: silicone or gummy bear). I wanted a more natural appearance and selected the "Natrelle teardrop gummy bear implants" and they were exactly what I wanted. On the day of the procedure, I was warmly welcomed and de-briefed again on how the whole process would go. Everyone made me feel a lot less nervous and by the time I was ready to enter the operating room, I was very calm and relaxed. It seemed as though it happened so fast. One moment I'm laughing and talking with everyone in the room and the next thing I recall was waking up in the recovery room. Staff was readily available to assist me with anything I may need and before I left I was able to lift my arms above my head! It took 24 hours of recovery and then I was right back to work! I even hit the gym 2 days later, some cardio and super light lifting (if any). I didn't need anything stronger than ibuprofen and extra-strength Tylenol during my recovery process. The night of the operation, Dr. Epstein was so kind as to call and see how I had been feeling and on top of that I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers the following day, that really brightened my spirits! I am so happy to have found Dr. Epstein and his wonderful, kind staff in having gone through not only my first B.A. but my first surgery ever. I was so content that I also went to him and his staff with another cosmetic procedure for laser scar removal. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Epstein and his staff over at his Stony Brook location for any procedures under the array of categories he his qualified in preforming. Dr. Epstein is extremely professional, willing to answer any and every question, makes you feel like more than a patient, and makes you laugh, feel comfortable, like you've made the perfect choice! The offices are modern and very clean and the staff is likewise, extremely professional and on top of things! Five-stars all-around!

Last year around June I researched online for plastic surgeons in New York that had the best of the best reviews due to my long term interest in getting breast implants. At the time I was 22-years-old, fresh out of college and ready to make the change I have been longing for since I was in high school and certainly underdeveloped than many of the girls in my grade. By July of last year I found myself in Dr. Epstein's office making my appointment for surgery due to his wonderful staff and himself, walking me through the process of Pre-Op and even what to do Post-Op to the point of dealing with the emotional recovery after surgery. I received the teardrop gummy bear implants and can honestly say that it is a year later and everything that Dr. Epstein and his staff said would happen did happen. My post-surgery recovery was indeed 24-hours. All I needed to get through the first week after surgery was a heavier dose of advil that was prescribed and some family time to cope with seeing friends and other family members post-surgery. For those wondering, to me that was the hardest part of the entire process. Besides dealing with emotional responses from friends and family, which in time you will learn is all a matter of perspective, Dr. Epstein and his staff were the best of the best. I just went back for my one year check up and everything went beautifully. Dr. Epstein was thrilled with the results and so am I! I can honestly say going to him for this procedure, something I thought about for a long time and was nervous about, was the best decision I made. His 24 hr recovery is a true thing. I wasn't on bed rest. I actually went back to A graduation party the next day. The sensation I felt after surgery was more like a tightness feeling instead of pain. Take some over the counter pain medicine, and you'll feel fine.

I have two children and am 38 years old. My recovery was quick as I followed all the instructions from the staff. I drove myself to his office the next day. I was able to shower and do everything I normally did on a daily basis. I was back to work in less than 48 hours post operating room. Based on a thorough review of his website I knew that the kind of results I was looking for, Dr. Epstein could provide. I received round gummy implants. My size was discussed, however, I wanted Dr. Epstein's professional opinion. I took every recommendation from Dr. Epstein and I am proud to say that I am pleased.
