My name is Yvonne and I am 42 years old. I had gastric bypass in 2009, and not only did I lose a lot of weight I lost my breasts as well. Although I was never large breasted, I now had skin where my breasts once were. A friend of mine who has had surgery done by Dr. Epstein suggested I go for a consultation. Well, that was the best thing I ever did for myself. Dr. Epstein and his staff were all so informative as well as understanding. They never once made me feel like I should be embarrassed or ashamed of the way I looked before or after surgery. On march 20, 2013 I had my breast augmentation and I cannot be happier. I finally fill out my clothes in a way that is flattering and now have somewhat of an hourglass shape. The recovery was incredible to say the least. I followed all of Dr. Epstein's instructions and did not have a single problem. I was truly able to lift my arms over my head after waking up from surgery. I could shower and move around without any problems. The day after surgery I was driving around and was able to complete all errands I normally do. Other than being able to lift more than 20 pounds and not allowed to Zumba for 3 weeks, life was good. Pain was more than manageable with just Ibuprofen and only needed that for the first couple of days. The ladies at my job were shocked that I recovered so quickly and with ease as they have seen other women that had augmentation done y other doctors and they were in severe pain for a long time. I am 18 years old and since I was a kid, I had been called things such as "dumbo" because my ears stuck out. I had always been too self conscious to even wear my hair up. I eventually decided to fix my ears once and for all and turned straight to Dr. Epstein who had been recommended to us by a friend of my mother's. At my consultation appointment, I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Epstein and his staff made me feel very comfortable and not at all worried that anything would go wrong. On the day of the surgery, I came in very relaxed and ready for the procedure to be done. I was brought into the impressive in-house operating room and the nurses were talking about other things with me to help me feel even more calm. I'm not even sure where this conversation left off because the next thing I knew, I waking up feeling remarkably comfortable. I was only given a sedative and local anesthesia, so the immediate recovery process was extra quick. I was feeling so good by the time I was ready to leave that I even made my parents bring me to IHOP straight from the doctor's office. I came back in two days later to have the big bandage around my head removed and that night after I had cleaned up a little, I looked in the mirror and was really happily surprised at how I looked. I had underestimated how much better I would feel looking at my face with my ears protruding less. My ears are very even looking on both sides now. I was never in a lot of pain following the surgery; I would think of it as more mild discomfort. Exactly a week after the surgery (which was March 20, 2013) I couldn't even feel that anything had happened to my ears anymore unless I touched them. I felt totally comfortable and happy in my own skin and it was a great, much awaited feeling of liberation. Now, two and a half weeks after my surgery, I'm sleeping on my side, riding my horse, and going about life as usual again. This was the best possible outcome that I could have asked for and I'm extremely grateful that Dr. Epstein gave me such a great gift.

After researching countless plastic surgeons throughout a few different states, I finally decided on having my breast augmentation done by Dr. Epstein. A girlfriend of mine, who is a hairdresser, had the procedure done at his office and was back to work after only three days, I had to see it to believe it! I made an appointment for a consultation and upon meeting Dr. Epstein, I was immediately comfortable and at ease. He explained everything, the pros and cons, in complete detail. He shared with me, his 24 hour recovery recipe and that sealed the deal for me. I scheduled my surgery that day. His staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. There is little to no waiting when going for an appointment in his office. The day before my surgery, I received a call from the anesthesiologist that was to assist in my surgery; she was wonderful and I appreciated the personal call. I awoke from my surgery in a minimal amount of pain; I was completely surprised by how little pain I had. I followed Dr. Epstein's simple 24 hour recovery plan and was able to return to work in three days! I am an ICU nurse and I was able to return to work with no restrictions. I needed only the Ibuprofen 800mg for my pain and I ended up having some left over as I no longer needed them after 3 or 4 days. I was absolutely amazed. I couldn't be happier with the augmentation!! They look absolutely amazing and definitely exceeded my expectations; I had very uneven breasts prior to my surgery and Dr. Epstein was able to make them perfectly symmetrical. The entire experience was better than I could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend Dr. Epstein to anyone that is interested in having a breast augmentation; he is a pioneer in this field. I could never thank him enough for what he has done for me and my confidence level.

Meeting with Dr. Epstein during the consultation, he took me through post surgery, the progression on my physical appearance, timeline of recovery etc. and it blew away what all other surgoens were offering. I thought it was too good to be true. So, I left and did more search. Everything I found confirmed what I was told by Dr. Epstein. So, I met with Dr. Epstein again with my husband for a final consultation. He addressed all of our questions and concerns. That night my husband and I deceided Dr. Epstein was the doctor for me. The actual procedure we chose was the extended tummytuck and a breast reduction with lift. Within six weeks I had my mommy makeover. After my surgery i was able to walk out of the office & get into my car. Dr. Epstein called the night of my surgery and came and visited me in the morning just to make sure everything looked up to his standards. He coninued to show this type of care throughout my recovery process. Within a week I was back to my normal routine caring for my 18 month and 3 year old. As far as the results: I CANNOT BE HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!! I am a whole new woman. The body I had before giving birth to my two children has returned! The scars are minimal and getting less noticable everyday. I would reccomend Dr. Epsteins' team to anyone seeking this type of procedure. A great surgeon. Oct 22nd, 2012 I had suffered a pretty extensive injury a number of years ago. As a result, I had experienced weight gain, and I also needed regular corticosteroid injections for years to deal with pain. This interfered with my hormone levels, and I developed a minor case of gynecomastia due to low testosterone levels. I finally lost the weight, but found I couldn't lose it from my chest, which became an extreme annoyance. I decided to have it taken care of. I located Dr Epstein from local online searches and reviews. I am endlessly happy that I did. I was apprehensive about this type of surgery, but Dr. Epstein and his staff put me at complete ease, and made the whole experience completely stress free. He is very personable, and was easy to talk to about my concerns, and what I hoped to achieve. His staff are absolutely wonderful. They were all friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to assist me. The office is spotless, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The on site surgical room is state of the art, and better than most hospital operating rooms I have been in. The day of the procedure, I arrived and the staff prepped me, both physically and mentally. I found I had no apprehension. The procedure went without a hitch, and there was minimum recovery time at the office. I walked out, feeling only a little fatigue. When I got home, I made a sandwiche LOL Dr. Epstein called me that evening, to make sure I was OK, which I was. I had some soreness for a day or two, but it was minor. I didn't even use the pain meds provided. I went back 6 days later, and all was healing well. I wore the compression garment as instructed, and it helped reduce swelling. I saw him a few weeks later, and was able to stop wearing the garment. I was very happy with the results. A few months later, I had a followup appointment. We were happy with the results, but the doctor saw that there was a slight imbalance. This was partially due to a difference in muscle size bilaterally from nerve damage due to my injury. The doctor decided to bring me in for a slight touch up. It was a quick and minor procedure, and it made everything even better than it was before. Dr. Epstein is an artist at body sculpting. I am thrilled with the results. I only wish I had done this earlier. Doctor Epstein and his entire staff have my utmost Thanks for what they have done for me. I am truly glad I met him.
