Patient Information: 30 year old female underwent inframammary (below the breast) placement of style SRM 345 cc round, smooth silicone gel filled implants under the muscle. Cup size increase C to DD.
If you look on the pre op photos, you will notice that she is fairly bottomed out – there is a lot of breast tissue between the nipple and the lower breast crease. The lower breast sags below the crease. Using a dual plane III technique, the implant now fills that lower breast tissue so that it doesn’t roll off the bottom of the implant (waterfall deformity). The breast is still a bit bottom heavy, but at least it is properly filled. A breast lift is NOT indicated here as the nipple is in the correct position.
