Case Details
Patient Information: 40 year old female with mammary pseudoptosis (drooping of glandular tissue) and mild true ptosis (drooping of the nipple) who underwent augmentation with 400cc silicone gel round implants placed under the muscle (submuscular) using a dual plane approach. The first set of postoperative photographs were taken only a few days after surgery. Note the excessive fullness in the upper breasts, and the nipples look low. Four months later, the volume re-distributed as the breast tissues stretched to accommodate the implant. The top of the breast has a more natural slope, the bottom of the breast is rounder and the nipples have rotated upward into the perfect position. No breast lift was required!
