Patient Information: 60 year old female who is shown 34 years following inframammary (below the breast) placement of round silicone gel filled implants above the muscle. The volume of the original implants is unknown. She presented with hard, non-tender breasts with superior displacement of the implants. Her tissue was very thin and overstretched. She underwent removal of both ruptured implants and removal of both capsules. Next, 371 cc round smooth silicone gel filled implants were placed.
