Dr. Mark Epstein is traveling to Istanbul this week to join the faculty of the XI World Symposium on Ergonomic Implants (WSEI), one of the most respected international gatherings for surgeons working with tissue preserving breast augmentation techniques. The symposium runs September 17 through 19, 2026, and brings together roughly 60 invited surgeons from around the world.
Dr. Epstein will deliver three lectures during the symposium.
“My Approach to Wide Awake Preservé Augmentation,” on performing Preservé breast augmentation under local anesthesia with the patient fully awake.
“Reinvent Primary Aug Practice with Preservé,” on building Preservé into an everyday augmentation practice.
“How I Integrate 3D Simulation into Patient Consultation,” on using 3D imaging to help patients visualize their results before surgery.
He will also join the faculty discussion panel on managing complex revision cases, alongside Dr. Charles Randquist and other international leaders in breast surgery, and will co-moderate a session on the future of breast aesthetic surgery alongside Dr. Humberto Uribe and Dr. Marie Jaeger.
Being invited to teach at this level, among a faculty that includes some of the most experienced breast surgeons in the world, reflects the depth of experience Dr. Epstein has built with the Preservé technique here in Hauppauge.
