Dr. Mark Epstein recently traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, to spend a day with Dr. Charles Randquist and his team at Victoriakliniken, one of the leading clinics in Europe for breast tissue preservation surgery. Dr. Randquist is internationally recognized as one of the pioneering surgeons behind the Preservé technique and continues to refine it at Victoriakliniken.
During the visit, Dr. Epstein observed live Preservé procedures and exchanged surgical approaches and case experience directly with Dr. Randquist’s team. Staying connected with the surgeons advancing this technique internationally is part of how Dr. Epstein continues to refine the results he brings to his own patients in Hauppauge.
This kind of direct, hands-on exchange between surgeons across countries is relatively rare in plastic surgery, and reflects the close, collaborative community that has grown around the Preservé technique since its introduction.
