How Does One Day Recovery Breast Augmentation Work™?
The key difference between my One Day Recovery Breast Augmentation™ and another surgeon’s standard breast augmentation is in how we handle the breast tissue. Swelling, bruising and post-operative pain and/or discomfort all result from trauma to the tissues. In a breast augmentation, an incision is usually made beneath the breast, the tissues are lifted using a blunt dissector to create a pocket, often beneath the muscle, and the breast implant is inserted into said pocket. All this jostling around makes the skin and tissues of the breast angry. However, in the One Day Recovery Breast Augmentation™, I don’t use a blunt dissector (which performs like the name implies). Instead, I practice very gentle tissue handling, using an electrocautery device. It resembles a fine tipped pencil that emits concentrated electrical energy that calmly divides your tissues without tearing them. This is why the recovery is so much easier. I also practice the same techniques in my other breast surgery procedures. So, your recovery from a breast augmentation with a breast lift is also only 24 hours.
